I am taking the next two weeks off of work, starting today, to help with the transition back to day shifts. It took much too long for that paperwork to go through. Nonetheless, it will be nice to actually spend some time with the dog, go running, practise at the driving range, and cook items that aren't designed to be flash frozen and reheated in a microwave. I'm sure my body will thank me.

Happy birthday, Marui. Perhaps instead of dinner tonight, we can have a small get together with everyone and celebrate.

I decided to step away from the mixer for one evening and tried out some recipes with fruit. Healthier fare is always good.

There have been some decent harvests lately. Though, I am thinking that I might need to visit a few farmer's markets in the near future.

Bunta. Repeat. Friday. Before we go home.

I think it's going out, which is understandable given all the baking I've been doing. My mother sent me a recipe for cheesecake. I might test it over the weekend on her mixer since she'll be out of town. The house will be fine for a weekend; I don't see a need to check in to make sure the house is still standing.

The onsen last weekend was nice. Thank you for coming with, Yukimura. I needed to relax after Valentine's day and the overabundance of chocolate. That reminds me, I still have a few boxes of chocolate covered strawberries I need to dispose of. I'm disinclined to put chocolate on fruit. I prefer whipped cream.

Oshitari-kun, the glow sticks came yesterday. They came with attachments to make them into bracelets. I say we can do much more with that.

I accepted most of the proofs. I am not an expert in photography, but a few shots just seemed off to me so I didn't choose those. I'm sure the final selection will be one in which the ladies are pleased.

Currently, I have no plans for Valentine's Day. There is a slight possibility that I might go home, but I know how that will end up.
