I am taking the next two weeks off of work, starting today, to help with the transition back to day shifts. It took much too long for that paperwork to go through. Nonetheless, it will be nice to actually spend some time with the dog, go running, practise at the driving range, and cook items that aren't designed to be flash frozen and reheated in a microwave. I'm sure my body will thank me.

I am safely back in Japan. The conference was, for the most part, enlightening. My long game hasn't gotten rusty. The hula dance is actually very hypnotizing. Not to mention I have a tan. I have all the necessary pieces for the luau Oshitari-kun and I have been planning.

My my, the golf courses here are just gorgeous. One can really get entranced by the surroundings and forget to go.

Yukimura, I emailed you a list of things about lactose intolerance that I hope you find useful.

An abundance of leis have been found.

Marui, don't click here )

It's a short seminar day tomorrow, so my father and I are going to hit the green in the afternoon for a short round. So far, the topics have been interesting. Mainly new developments and medicines. I believe Thursday will have the surgical advancements.

Grass skirts have been procured.

My flight leaves tomorrow morning at 6am. Meaning a wake up time of 4:30 to get to the airport on time. My father is coming into Tokyo tonight from Yokohama. I believe we'll be having dinner after my shift, but that is entirely dependent on when his train gets in.

Before I leave for the next week, is there anything I should bring back as souvenirs? Grass skirts, leis, and coconut bras will be purchased aplenty. Marui, I cannot bring back desserts. My apologies in advance.

New Year's Eve was... interesting. Oshitari-kun and I's performance went off with out a hitch. Hiyoshi-kun, I hope you enjoyed the lap dance.

I found the results to be quite accurate.

Halloween was rather interesting. I imbibed some red beverage -- which was quite fitting given my costume -- and I ended deliriously happy all night. I do apologize to you, Tezuka-kun, if I was in any way inappropriate. It's really a good thing that I did not see Marui-kun.

Done, finally. I don't feel nearly as accomplished as I did with my very first exam a few years ago, but I suppose it loses its luster once the initial glean has wore off. Though, I'll know by the middle of next week if I'll be awarded the last doctorate. I promised this would be my last and I plan to keep my word unless something unthinkable happens. I'm not bored anymore, therefore, no need to keep going back for more.

Oshitari-kun, thank you. Very much. My apologies for you having to deal with a crying child. Though, by the sounds of it, you have proven you are good with children. Did she wipe her nose on your tie? How disgusting. I'll resume normal hours Saturday, if that's to your liking.

Marui. Friday evening. I made reservations. Dress up.

The pool party was fun. A nice break from the bustling everyday at the hotel. Besides buying Marui large tropical drinks to keep his mouth otherwise occupied, I just sat poolside and talked with him and Niou-kun. It seems as though everyone had a relatively good time, from what I noticed.

I have my testing dates: end of September. I am getting nervous, even though I've done this 3 times previous. This will be the last one, I'm sure. I don't need to distract myself anymore.

Oshitari-kun, I'll let you know closer to the testing days what times/shifts I'll need to switch with you, if that is all right.

---

Niou-kun, I picked up the bleaching kit. Just in case. It looks like it's almost out though, so we might not need it.

My first week is almost over. Besides the random plant-based rash, I've seen few people. I suppose I should consider this to be good news. I do not think it would be in my best interest, or Oshitari-kun's, to have something serious happen.

Regarding the plant, if you want to kill it, why not just cut off it's food supply? No water. No sunlight. I imagine it would just shrivel up and expire that way. I honestly don't believe an weapons will help. Mainly for the fact that it reminds me of an aloe plant in which if you cut off a piece, the severed piece will grow anew. Considering the size of it currently, this does not sound to be a good thing.

Tezuka, Marui )

It is really nice to be around people I went to school with. There is a lot of catching up to do. I've already done a little with Kirihara-kun and Marui-kun, though that will be easy considering we share an apartment. I've also seen Niou-kun. That was a pleasant surprise. Maybe during my off time I can play some tennis or maybe get a round of golf in.
