It has definitely been a lot more quiet as of late.

Akutagawa-kun, I hope you don't mind that I've been taking Cupcake on walks in the morning. I did not wish to wake you.

Seeing as I have not heard of any disagreeable instances occurring in Italy that do not have to do with the Vatican, I can safely assume that things are going well.

Yanagi, perhaps we can have tea again sometime.

I think it's going out, which is understandable given all the baking I've been doing. My mother sent me a recipe for cheesecake. I might test it over the weekend on her mixer since she'll be out of town. The house will be fine for a weekend; I don't see a need to check in to make sure the house is still standing.

The onsen last weekend was nice. Thank you for coming with, Yukimura. I needed to relax after Valentine's day and the overabundance of chocolate. That reminds me, I still have a few boxes of chocolate covered strawberries I need to dispose of. I'm disinclined to put chocolate on fruit. I prefer whipped cream.

Oshitari-kun, the glow sticks came yesterday. They came with attachments to make them into bracelets. I say we can do much more with that.

Yukimura, I emailed you a list of things about lactose intolerance that I hope you find useful.

An abundance of leis have been found.

Niou-kun and I had dinner with my parents on Friday evening. Yakiniku (one of Niou's favorites) and soba (one of mine) with some carrot cake (my father's) for dessert. (Yes, Marui, I brought home as large a piece as my mother would let me.) My sister, Rei, was at volleyball practice and could not attend.

They expressed concern that I was working myself to death. I tried to explain that working on another doctorate and working at the hotel was not killing me. It's not nearly as demanding as working at a hospital. Besides, my boredom was put toward something worthwhile. Though, as my mother put it, "Do you really need another medical degree?" I cannot say I disagree, but it keeps the mind sharp.

As usual, my mother fussed over Niou-kun and asked about everyone else. I said everyone was fine, mainly because I did not want to give them too much information that I did not feel comfortable sharing.
