no more exams

Done, finally. I don't feel nearly as accomplished as I did with my very first exam a few years ago, but I suppose it loses its luster once the initial glean has wore off. Though, I'll know by the middle of next week if I'll be awarded the last doctorate. I promised this would be my last and I plan to keep my word unless something unthinkable happens. I'm not bored anymore, therefore, no need to keep going back for more.

Oshitari-kun, thank you. Very much. My apologies for you having to deal with a crying child. Though, by the sounds of it, you have proven you are good with children. Did she wipe her nose on your tie? How disgusting. I'll resume normal hours Saturday, if that's to your liking.

My Versace tie -- how I mourn thee. Children are not exactly my forte, though I did my best to keep it entertained. Unfortunately she preferred my hair to anything resembling a toy in the office. Saturday is well enough.

MMm, perhaps devote a drawer to blocks or something that small children cannot devour that poses no danger to them. It would indeed, I would hate to cut it drastically. Lucky for me, drooly teeth only caused some split ends. A trim and some deep conditioning should fix it right up. I suppose that's what I get for ganking the tie away from her.

Aa. That sounds like a good plan. I'll pick some items up when I'm out today. If the tie was destroyed, perhaps just giving it to her would have been acceptable. Though, why a four year old would want to play with a Versace tie is beyond me.
